"I joined a Family Learning course at my children’s school. Whilst on the course I was introduced to an Adult Learning careers advisor who explained about apprenticeships and how to apply for one. I followed his advice and was successful in gaining a level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship with Adult Learning. I then secured a job as a Curriculum Support Assistant with the team and completed a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship. My experience and qualifications gave me the confidence and opportunity to apply for the role of Curriculum Support Officer. I went on to become Adult Learning’s Exams Officer and I am now currently working as the Apprenticeship and Work Based Learning Coordinator. I am so grateful for being able to return to learning as an adult, it gave me the opportunities and confidence to move forward in my career and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it."

"After coming to the UK to join my husband, I was looking for an opportunity to gain some work experience and upskill. I found the perfect opportunity in a Business Administration Apprenticeship with Luton Borough Council. I was taught by two amazing professionals, who were always ready to support their learners. After completing my apprenticeship I successfully applied for a job as a Business Administrator with the Council and I am really enjoying my job."

"My careers advisor introduced me to an apprenticeship at Luton Adult Learning, where I began as a shy school and care leaver. The experience transformed me, boosting my skills and confidence significantly. As an apprentice, I became an ambassador for Step Forward Luton, even speaking on radio about it. I expanded into different departments, shadowing and learning extensively. This journey led to a permanent role as a Curriculum Support Officer at Luton Adult Learning, where I now thrive doing what I love every day. This apprenticeship opened doors I never thought possible, marking a life-changing opportunity for growth and success."

Her teacher has shared: "One of the best apprentices I have seen. She possesses an impressive knack for not only acquiring knowledge but also articulating it with finesse and clarity. Recognizing her remarkable abilities, we've arranged for her to step into another class, where she'll have the opportunity to showcase some of her past work. This endeavor aims to serve as a wellspring of inspiration, offering a glimpse into her journey and accomplishments, in the hope that it will ignite a similar passion and drive in others."

"I would like to say a huge thank you to you for being a supportive coach and taking your time out to support me when I wasn't feeling great. With yours and my teacher's support, I was able to carry on and complete my course."
"I must say my teacher is the most wonderful and extremely supportive tutor I ever had in my life. She’s a very caring and motivating person. I’m a single mum and it was extremely stressful for me to complete assignments whilst we were in a lockdown. My teacher supported me each and every time when needed. Her response to each of my emails was super quick. This helped me to complete all my work within the deadline. I’m absolutely grateful to have had such a lovely tutor! Really appreciate her efforts and hard work which now reflects in my practice. Thank you"
