ESOL Entry 2

This is the right course for you if you want to further develop basic language skills for everyday communication, progress at work or progress on to further study. You will learn more about English grammar and learn how to use the past tenses and use conjunctions. You will learn how to ask questions and give information at your children’s school, or at the doctors or at the supermarket. You will be able to read and respond to simple letters, stories etc.

Criteria for this course:

You need to be reading, writing, speaking & listening at entry level 1 to join this course. 

Course duration:

• Speaking and listening - 12 weeks approx.

• Reading - 12 weeks approx.

• Writing - 12 weeks approx.

When you fully achieve ESOL Entry level 2, you can move on to ESOL Entry level 3.

Exams:

At the end of each course learners take an exam and get a certificate for their qualification after passing the exam. Please remember, you will not be entered for an exam if you aren’t ready, or if your attendance is below 85%.
