Walking your way to fitness.
Start your journey to a fitter you with a few small steps. This course will explore healthy eating and hydration as well as offering lots of support to get you moving and improving your fitness levels through step counting and using maths to evaluate our levels of activity.
Every session will include a short group walk to get us all more active.
Craft with Maths.
Each session is based around culturally diverse creative activities, which will also link to a simple maths skills. Small friendly groups helping to promote well-being and develop teamwork and communication.
Coping with Change
Situations change, some are planned changes, some are unplanned changes. This short workshop explores strategies to help ‘cope with change’.

Effective communication is vital in all areas of employment - this two hour session explores how to improve and make the most of your communication skills - not just in the work place but in everyday life

We’ve all heard of climate change but do we really understand what it means? This course will help you to identify some simple changes you can make to your day to day life to live more sustainably and do your bit for the environment

This two hour session will help you to consider the pros and cons of setting up your own business and get ready to develop your own business plan.
Sessions are face to face, please attend in person and bring with you, a pen and paper.
Following the session you will sent additional resources so you will need an email address so you can correspond with the teacher.

You will be expected to:
arrive on time to the session
actively take part in the session
complete any activities that are set
complete an evaluation form at the end of the session
