Passport to Childcare

This a free 2 hour session suitable for anyone interested in working in the childcare sector. It will give you an insight into what it is like to work in a childcare setting such as a nursery or as a childminder and help you to decide if childcare is the right career path for you. 

How this course is delivered? 

This course is delivered face to face in Arndale House.

What will I learn? 

• Identify the skills and qualifications required to work in the childcare sector

• Assess if you have the skills to progress into learning or work in the childcare sector 

• Plan own next steps into a career in the childcare sector 

What can I do next? 

Enrol on our Becoming a Childcare Practitioner course or Becoming a Childminder course. Request an initial assessment to find out if you are ready to progress on to a childcare qualification. Consider upskilling your English and maths first.
